The Avid Avant AE shock rebuild kit gives you everything you need to freshen up your current Avid Avant 13mm shocks. The kit includes (2) 3x23 and (2) 3x27.5 Avid Chrome Shock Shafts, (4) Avant AE Machined Shock Spacers, (8) Avid X-Rings, and (1) Avid Slop Oring Grease. All of these items are available separately if you don't need everything as well.

Tips

• When installing, we recommend that you place the shiny side of the washer that has rounded edges away from the piston. Doing this allows the piston to slightly spin when the screw is fully tightened down so it doesn't deform the piston under the screw pressure.
