AE Shock Rebuild Kit | (2) 3x23 / (2) 3x27.5

The Avid Associated shock rebuild kit gives you everything you need to freshen up your current AE 10th scale suspension. The kit includes (2) 3x23 and (2) 3x27.5 Avid Chrome Shock Shafts, (12) Avid Machined Shock Spacers, (8) Avid X-Rings, and (1) Avid Slop Oring Grease. All of these items are available separately if you don't need everything as well.

Tips

• When installing, we recommend that you place the shiny side of the washer that has rounded edges away from the piston. Doing this allows the piston to slightly spin when the screw is fully tightened down so it doesn't deform the piston under the screw pressure.
• Once the shock is built and you are getting ready to add oil, we suggest you seat the machined shock spacers by moving the shaft side to side, this will free up the shaft movement.
