JP Richards Tq's and Wins SCT Shootout

By JP Richards:  This past weekend was the SCT Shootout held by CRCRC in Hilliard, Ohio. The race was pretty well attended with 80 entries. The race format was three rounds of rocket round style qualifying, with a resort after 2 rounds, and an eight-minute Amain. I ran in the 2wd-modified class.

R1 saw me set TQ by about 1 second.

R2 saw me again reset my TQ by a little over 5 seconds

R3 I would have been able to reset my TQ but traffic on the last couple of laps didn’t make that possible.

For the main I would line up on the pole position. At the tone I led wire to wire with a perfect race and the fastest lap of the weekend.
