Avid had a great weekend by winning 4 ROAR National Titles and the 4wd Mod Class at the Inaugural Desert Classic (which has replaced the infamous Cactus Classis).

At the ROAR Electric On-Road Carpet Nationals, hosted by 360v2, the most competitive class is 17.5 Touring Car and we were proud to see our Avid team take the top 4 positions (Isaacs, Gee, Klingofrth, and Anderson).

2017 ROAR 13.5 1/12 Scale Champion - Eric Anderson
2017 ROAR 21.5 USGT Champion - Bill Sydor

At the Desert Classic, Avid's Ty Tessmann entered 3 classes with his new Xray's and got each of them onto a podium. But it was the 4wd class where he would shine the brightest by blazing his last 3 laps at 15.8's to catch the ever impressive Maifield when the fastest laps set in the mains had been 16.0's.
